Recent Tweet by Motorola Officials of Germany have suggested that Moto G4plus ,G4 and G4play are going to receive the long awaited nougat update this month and that too before Christmas. Certainly a good news for the users of the device because its been a while since Moto released the soak test for the device.

Zuk is a well known Lenovo brand all over the world who began their journey holding hands with Cyanogen OS and launching their 1st device Zuk Z1.

A year later Zuk Z2 and Z2Pro was launched worldwide which created a buzz in the midrange by offering the cheapest device to run on a Snapdragon 820 chipset.

Nowadays most of the OEMs are tending to keep their device upto date with the latest Android OS version and so Lenovo has recently confirmed that both the ZUK Z1 and Z2Pro (Z2 not yet confirmed) are going to receive the awaited Android 7.0.

                   
     

Brick is a very dangerous state of Android devices where your android device just becomes unusable like a plastic brick as the name suggests.
 So lets discuss the types of bricks and how it happens and whether they are fixable or not.


1. Soft Brick
Soft brick is a type of brick which is caused by anytype of software problems resulting to Bootloop.
Now what is Bootloop?? Bootloop is a state of android where your android enters a phase of infinite looping of booting phase where either your BootAnimation goes on and on and on and your device never turns on or your device automatically enters bootphase again and again after vibrating and turning off. Both case your device becomes unusable. The main reason behind this is a corrupted software or OS update and can happen to any user irrespective of stock or custom rom on their phones.

All though soft brick may seem dangerous but there is no reason to panic. It can be fixed by any non technical person. Even a noob android user can fix it himself without any data loss.

Fixing a Soft Brick or Bootloop :
For a Stock Rom user bootloop can occur when a OS update is corrupt doesnt mean that the update pushed is always corrupt. It also depends upon the download of the update. So the easiest way is to re-download the update(many sites are available where users post a OTA capture in form of a zip file), put it in the root of your sd card and use recovery to apply the update via sd card. VOILA!!! its now fixed.

For a rooted Custom Rom user having TWRP or any custom recovery can redownload his or her custom rom and can do a flash of the rom which generally fixes the issue. Even a theme can cause a bootloop , in that case one must use TWRP and access the system bis the TWRP file manager to delete the installed app and reboot the device. Any other reason for bootloop pls tell in the comments.


2. Hard Brick:
Hard brick is a more dangerous form of brick which makes the device totally nonfunctional, in some cases device dont even charge when connected to a charger and you cant even enter the recovery of your device. Its very complicated and can happen due to any reason. Some of the reasons are flashing a ROM or a kernel which is not made for your device, messing with the system files of your device without proper knowledge of what you are doing. There are very less or no chances to recover from this state by a noob.

Fixing a Hard Bricked device: You can recover from hard brick by using JTAG or send your Phone to JTAG service center to get it fixed, which means you no longer need to buy a new one. Apart from this there is also a ADB method where you need to reflash your stock rom by connecting your device to a PC via a USB cable but depends upon the situation

Final Words: Its best to follow the proper development of your device to avoid encountering with such type of issues

In this 21st century Android is a OS for the general and with android a term underlying Android is Rooting.

So,What is Rooting??
Rooting is the process of gaining administrative control on your Android device by which a user can become a power user and can tweak the operating system according to its own will and choice. Seems good right?? Actually it is but sometimes not which we will be knowing soon why and how.
Rooting is something that a normal person wont do to his or her device. There is a common misconception that rooting harms your device and makes it completely fake and un-usable. I have seen many people saying all such rubbish stuff I dont know why. Rooting is just gaining a deeper control on your android device which every user wants to have on a device he owns. ROOTING DOESNT MEAN USING A CUSTOM ROM!!! You can also root your stock rom and enjoy the extra privileges.

Enough talking, lets see the what rooting does to your Android.

Advantages:

As I said earlier rooting gives you administrative control on your Android which helps a lot. I am keeping it till 4 since there are many advantages of rooting and i cant write all of them

1.Tweaking the experience of your device: By rooting your android device you can get the control to do a lot of tweaks to your Stock(as well as custom rom flashed) android device like changing your BootAnimation, Font style, and even the User Interface of your Android device using the newly developed Substratum Engine by various developers like Nicholas Chum and many others and applying some of the hundreds of Substratum themes by various themers available in the Play Store(A true hatsoff to you all for making such things possible). These themes help you to customize your android experience from head to toe giving you the power to change your general android UI according to your own will.

2. Lightening your Android Device: Although OEMs are tending towards making the UI of their devices more and more lighter and cleaner still many OEMs are there who continue to bloat their Android devices using unwanted apps which are not at all used by the users. These apps continue running in the background , sucking huge amounts of data and battery. Most of the OEMs dont give the option to its users to uninstall these apps and hence users have a really bad android experience. So how rooting helps in this case?? If a device is rooted you can access its system and can easily delete the preinstalled apps from your android system which in turn gives you a better android experience and a lot better battery life. This also Frees up huge storage which is like a divine blessing on low memory devices

3. Tweaking the Performance of your device: One of the most important reason of rooting is giving the user to control the performance of the device. The user himself can tweak it by ovrclocking the device or changing the min/max frequencies of the CPU according to his or her usage time. If the device battery is low one can tune to a lower freq for a while or change the scaling of the CPU to minimise the power consumption. If a Gamer Guy is out there he can tune is device to a Max CPU/GPU frequency to get the best gaming experience.

4. Automate Nearly Everything: You've probably heard of Tasker. You don't need to root your phone to use it, but if you're rooted, it can do a whole lot more. Certain tasks, like toggling 3G, GPS, changing CPU speed, turning the screen on, and others require root access. So, if you want to get the full benefit of an app like Tasker, you'll definitely want to root your phone. 

Disadvantages: 
As I said in the introduction that sometimes its not good to root your device. Now lets talk about the other side of the coin.

1. The process: The process of rooting is a bit risky which can lead your android device turn unusable. If the process of rooting is not correct the result turns out to be bootloop where your device gets stuck in the bootscreen and doesnt turn on. We will be learning more about bricking and bootloop in upcoming posts. Till know just know that if you can't root your device in a proper way it can result to infinite booting.

2. The Warranty:

Dont know why still OEMs discourage rooting which results in voiding the warranty of your device. Some OEMs do support warranty cover after rooting but maximum dont as a result users get harrassed to repair their damaged device.

My Opinions:
So after reading  the post its up to you all whether you support root or not but I strongly support rooting as there are more useful things that we can do by gaining administrative power. If we dont root android then what will be the difference between us and iOS users???

Android 7.0 Nougat update schedule for Moto X, Moto Z Force, Z Play, Moto E, and others

Android 7.0 Nougat is expected to be rolled out to other Motorola devices only after the Z-series receive the OS.

Motorola was one of the first smartphone makers to seed Android Marshmallow to its eligible devices, and it has not disappointed its fans this time too. The Lenovo-owned company has started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update via OTA (over-the-air) to the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus in India, giving a clear hint that it will come to other devices soon.
A Motorola spokesperson had earlier revealed that Android 7.0 Nougat update would come to the Moto Z and Moto G4 series in the beginning of Q4, 2016, and it has turned out right. The Moto G4 series has already got the firmware (soak test update) as promised but the Moto Z series hasn't, and this may disappoint owners of Moto Z Force, Moto Z, Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Force Droid, Moto Z Play, and Moto Z Play Droid.

When will the Moto Z series receive Android 7.0 Nougat update? Nobody knows the exact time frame but it appears like it will happen soon now that the G4 series has got it. The firmware is expected to be rolled out to other Motorola devices only after the handsets from Z-series receive the OS.

List of phones:

Motorola is expected to seed Google's new operating system to the Moto X Force, Moto X Play, Moto X Style, Moto G (3rd gen) not yet confied by Moto, Moto E (3rd gen) not yet confirmed by Moto, Moto Droid 2015 series, Moto G Play (4th Gen), Moto X Pure Edition (3rd Gen), Droid Turbo 2, and Droid Maxx 2.
It may be mentioned that Android 7.0 Nougat has been rolled out to the Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, Nexus Player, Pixel C and Android One. It was first seen running in LG V20 before Google's Pixel and Pixel XL were released with the firmware.

Whats new??

The new OS has features like multi-window, direct reply notifications, Extra power efficiency, Google Assistant, VR interface, Seamless updates, Screen Zoom, Clear All, Data saver, Improved file browser, Instant Apps, App switch, bundled notifications, improved Java 8 language support, and new emojis.

Many new features will also be added in Moto Display

Nowadays Android has become an OS for the general public all over the world. I have met many people to know what they think about Android and about their usage.... and i was shocked after knowing some facts about their thinking about android and its usage.
As a result I decided to post about some serious mistakes users do after buying a device.

1. Installing Android cleaner apps:
      The 1st thing most Android users do after getting their device is installing SO CALLED
"ANDROID CLEANING APPS" which claim to make your phone faster and assure you better battery life and cooling down your device.I wont name any of those apps but you all readers know. These apps are nothing but just crap. They themselves become heavy and suck your battery and show you unwanted advertisements like fast charging mode and bla bla bla......They even send random personal data from your device in the name of protecting your device from viruses.  They clean the cache of your OS telling that they are cleaning your device. The cleaning of cache makes your device even more slower. Now WHAT IS CACHE??? As you use applications, your device start storing files for reference later. These files are stored in an app "cache." For instance: When you're using the an app, it'll save images and other pieces of the stories you've read so that they don't have to be downloaded each and every single time the app needs them. This saves you time and data. Then why should we clear cache??? If cache was meant to be cleaned why would Google implement this feature in their OS???
What they do in the name of making device faster. basically they just kill the running apps in your device. You may say thats good. But when you again relaunch the app it takes a long time to launch and also more battery..... DOES LONGER APP LAUNCH TIME MEAN A FASTER DEVICE????

2. Running device on battery-saver mode(Always).

     I have seen many users running their devices on battery saver mode always. WHAT IS BATTERY SAVER MODE??? Battery saver mode is running your android with your CPU capped at a mean frequency. Taking my device as an example its freq range is 1.2GHz - 300MHz . When running battery saver mode my device CPU frequency gets capped at 787Mhz. It turns off background sync which is good.But when you run your device on battery-saver mode for doing normal day to day activities extra load is put on the CPU for carrying out a basic task. This makes the process a bit slow and even sucks more battery instead of saving battery. So according to me running the device on battery saver mode for a long time is not a recommended idea. Yes you may run on this mode when you are really in need to save battery for emergency but not always

3. Not turning on USB debugging mode in developers options:

      A few days ago I came across a friend of mine asking help for his corrupted device due to faulty software update download. But he didnt turn on USB debugging mode in his device. Look this is a serious issue and may happen with any one of us due to faulty download of update. If usb debugging is turned on via developer option mode you can easily download the update in .zip form and flash it using fastboot mode. So according to me turning on USB debugging is a positive thing for your device's future.

4. Installing apps from 3rd party sites:

       I have seen many users using cracked apks of many apps. According to them they dont want to waste money on Android apps. But they dont even know whattrap they are into. Once i saw on my friends mobile that fullscreen ads springing up on the device screen when he was working with mobile data turned on. He told that he was suffering the issue for the last few days. After looking for the cause of the problem for a long time found out that a cracked apk was the cause of the problem. After uninstalling the app the problem was gone. The sites which put up these cracked apks on their site 1st decompile the app and put in the codes for ads and downloading additional bloats on their device for making their profit. As a result when you install these apps they download data whick makes your device slower and also unwanted ads on your device and sometimes even share your personal data. So STOP PIRACY AND RESPECT DEVELOPERS FOR HARD WORK!!!

5. Installing apps as much as you want:
    Apps are the backbone of an OS. But downloading apps like a mad is not a good idea. Keeping unused apps on your device takes a lot of space on your device as well as their data is stored in your internal storage which slows down the read and writing speed of the device memory due to huge number of folders and data. Sometimes uninstalling an app doesnt solve the problem and some data remains in internal storage in folders. So we must download the apps we only want and regularly use. The best way to keep your device clean is factory resetting your device every 6months after backing up necessary data.
